Baltika Group celebrating its 95th anniversary this year is a fashion company with a long history operating in the Baltic countries, that started to work with Primend in 2021 as an organization with about 170 employees at the time.

Since IT-related matters closely affect the daily operations of the stores and such critical business processes as inventory management and product orders, ELVI decided to hire professional help. In December 2021, ELVI started cooperation with Primend, and within a couple of months, the main IT infrastructure issues were promptly and efficiently reorganized.

The first step in the cooperation was a comprehensive audit of Veho SIA: it included mapping of all the hardware and software used in the company and interviews with all the employees to find out the most critical sore points for the users. All the network equipment, security settings, age of the equipment and connections were also checked, as well as server hardware, platforms, operation systems and links. After the IT audit, a report was issued where the tasks were prioritized, starting from the most mission-critical ones. The report identified that the server park of the company was in the most vulnerable state, as the equipment and operation systems were old.

Mapri cooperation with Primend had just begun when the world was unexpectedly shaken by the global pandemic Covid-19. The complicated circumstances made the usual introduction phase a bit more difficult and, thus, created some challenges also in the process of providing services. As a solution, all the key issues were identified, IT network infrastructure was adjusted, cloud services were implemented, and inventory and maintenance were performed.

The support we received from Microsoft partner, Primend, has helped us transition seamlessly to Azure cloud services. This move allows FINCI to offer our customers superior financial services that are built on a faster, more agile and more secure cloud infrastructure, said Mihails Kuznecovs, FINCI’s CEO. “The team at Primend made life so much easier and have been a real pleasure to work with,” he added.  

In order to improve the customer experience and optimise the process of creation and approval of contracts, it was decided to use digital solutions for complete automation of the process.

Primend helped to implement Office 365 for ERGO Insurance, ensuring data migration from IBM Lotus Domino and Exchange Server and helping to apply adequate safety solutions.

Since the company introduced Office 365, data exchange, such as hosting customer presentations and product descriptions or sharing information with colleagues, has been done in the cloud with Onedrive and SharePoint. The implemented reporting system is centralized and available online, taking advantage of Power BI.

In its essence, there was a need for large-scale and complex IT project where each element played an important role. This success was ensured by the on-time preparedness of systems to provide the necessary data, presence of the visualisation application and the interface between the systems involved. The Power BI solution that was built in a short timeframe by Primend was convenient, easy, and safe to use for WRC rally organizers and teams.

Elering is an independent and autonomous Estonian electricity and gas interconnected system operator, whose main task is to ensure high-quality energy supply to Estonian consumers at all times. With the help of Primend, Elering introduced the Microsoft Teams remote tool.

The cooperation between Primend and Timbeco began several years ago, where we started to use the relatively new cloud solutions of that time.

Topauto is Primend’s full-service costumer. Topauto is a car dealer and for dealer management system (DMS) they are using Automaster. Automaster is so called legacy system that needs very fast storage, quick restore from back-up and very good technical knowledge on how to set-up and maintain the environment. Topauto’s Automaster is hosted in Primend Cloud.

Inchcape serves thousands of customers, and every two minutes a vehicle is sold at some point of the world. In our region, Inchcape Motors is represented in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland. The total number of employees is about 500. In order to ensure smooth organisation of work and reach the goals of the company, the IT solutions are at top level and support business.
