Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is an integrated bundle of Windows 10, Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility + Security.
Microsoft 365 changes the work environment boundaries of users. Companies can give users access to corporate data and collaboration tools with enhanced security, while being sure that both the data and devices are under control. You have control over who accesses corporate data, as well as when, how and with what device.
Security is big concern for everybody and needs to be top of the priority list for all. Accidental data leaks or security breaches can be very costly. Microsoft 365 is one of the best products to minimise the risks.

Primend has extensive experience in both the planning and deployment of all Microsoft 365 workloads for different sizes and types of clients.

Why choose Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 gives users the ability to control the data cycle throughout an organisation and to maintain control over data. It uses AI for security analyses and has automation in place for the remediation of security breaches.
Example, sign-in risk policy:
Azure AD analyses each user sign-in. The objective of the analysis is to detect any suspicious actions that occur on sign-in. For example, is the sign-in done using an anonymous IP address, or is the sign-in initiated from an unfamiliar location?
In Azure AD, all suspicious actions that the system can detect are also known as risk events. Based on the risk events that have been detected during a sign-in, Azure AD calculates a value. The value represents the probability (low, medium, high) that the sign-in is not being performed by a legitimate user. The probability is called the sign-in risk level.
The sign-in risk policy is an automated response that you can configure for a specific sign-in risk level. In your response, you can block access to your resources or require passing a multi-factor authentication (MFA) challenge to gain access.

Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security is an intelligent mobility management and security platform. It helps protect and secure your organisation and empowers your employees to work in new and flexible ways.

Data protection with Azure information Protection – AIP that gives control over the company’s data even when the data goes beyond corporate boundaries. AIP is a cloud-based solution that helps an organisation classify and optionally protect its documents and emails by applying labels. Labels can automatically be applied by administrators who define rules and conditions manually by users, or a combination in which users are given recommendations.

There are also many more security features.

Your business data can be compromised in many ways. You and your users can compromise your organisation's security when you sign in with compromised credentials or view the organisation’s data on different devices and applications. More specifically, your organisation is at risk from:

  • Compromised or weak sign-in credentials.
  • Compromised device with a weak pin, or a user-owned device.
  • Users who can copy/paste/save your organisation's data to personal apps.
  • Users who install and use third party apps with weak security.

  • When people who should not have access can access documents with sensitive information.
