Ģirts Apinis | Manager of IT Maintenance Group in the Baltic countries
“We are happy with the completed project and we highly value the counselling and support services also after the project was completed.” Ģirts Apinis, Manager of IT Maintenance Group in the Baltic countries.
The insurance companies of ERGO Insurance SE operating in the Baltic countries previously used various e-mail systems and cooperation tools, exchange of which for a common system was a logical step in the process of creating synergy of the business and administration functions of the companies that had been initiated.
With Primend, we transferred to a common Microsoft 365 platform that met our requirements of operating efficiency. From the perspective of the IT management, the important factors were simplicity of maintenance of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security services as well as the available safety measures.
Primend helped us implement Office 365 and ensured data migration from IBM Lotus Domino and Exchange Server, helping to apply adequate safety solutions.
An important part of our cooperation also included training of IT managers and the team of support services, as well as introduction of Microsoft Teams to users.
Thanks to the definition of safety settings, all the required information is available to every employee, regardless of their location and the device used, which remarkably increases productivity and saves a considerable amount of time.
